There are eight sensory systems that work together in developing and understanding our bodies and help to process stimuli in the environment.  Sensory processing impacts movements, learning, feeling of safety, and our arousal levels.

Learn more about ways to support your child's sensory systems and regulation in our handouts below. When trying new sensory strategies, pay attention to your child's response and discontinue if the strategy being used is causing more distress. If you have additional questions or concerns, call our office to learn more about our services and schedule an evaluation with one of our therapists.
