Christie earned her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University in 2000—Go Aggies! She has over 25 years of experience as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, supporting children with a wide range of communication needs. Christie is passionate about helping children develop communication skills that are meaningful and functional in their everyday lives. She believes strong relationships are the foundation for growth and enjoys partnering closely with families throughout their child’s journey. By incorporating each child’s interests into therapy, she creates engaging experiences that foster motivation, confidence, and progress. She especially loves celebrating the small victories that lead to big growth over time. Christie values collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support the development of the whole child and feels honored to be part of each family's story. Outside of work, her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family. Whether enjoying everyday adventures or simply being together, family time is what fills her heart and keeps her grounded.
