ORTHOPEDIC THERAPY

What is Orthopedic Physical Therapy?

Whether you have just had surgery or are hoping to avoid surgery altogether, physical therapy can help. Physical therapy assists in gaining or regaining strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Services can help you recover from the following conditions:

  • Post-surgery rehab

  • Sprains/Strains

  • Tendonitis

  • Neck or back pain

  • General joint pain

  • Deconditioning

  • And more

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

At your first appointment, your physical therapist will take the time to evaluate and get to know you. Your physical therapist will review your medical history and together help determine a plan for recovery. Physical therapy usually takes place a few times a week over the course of several weeks. Your therapist will create exercises for you based on your specific injury and goals. By doing carefully designed exercises with a physical therapist, you can help speed your recovery from an injury or orthopedic surgery.
