Sandia Sunrise Therapy is hiring team-oriented speech-language pathologists and occupational therapy professionals. We offer a flexible schedule to focus on providing patients with the best possible treatment, in addition to a competitive
benefits package and pay. Our practice model utilizes an interdisciplinary patient-led and family-centered approach. Full-time and part-time positions can range between 20-34 patients per week for occupational therapy positions and 25-45 patients per week for speech therapy positions. Candidates Qualifications:

New Mexico state-issued license with respected practice board

National board certification and/or registry in respected field

College degree in respected field

Experience with teletherapy desired, but not required

Minimum of one year experience in a pediatric setting is preferred

Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws
Candidate Responsibilities:

Provide appropriate therapy evaluation, assessment, and treatment to children with various conditions ages 0-21

Utilize evidence-based practice in all areas of evaluation and treatment

Prepare engaging home programs and activities for families

Collaborate with team members and other allied professionals

Write professional evaluations and re-assessments that include a thorough plan of care with individualized goals and objectives for each patient

Prepare treatment materials and therapy room, ensuring proper sterilization and safety procedures are followed

Handle and document important medical information with accountability and attention to detail

Attend continuing education courses and work to advance personal knowledge and experience within the field

Supervise and mentor students

Be able to lift at least 40 pounds
