PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPY

The goal of physical therapy is to maximize your child’s independence with functional mobility and fitness. Based on an individualized program, our physical therapist works to improve your infant and child’s ability to move about the world in a safe and effective manner. Our physical therapist is a Board-Certified Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy, and has additional certification as a Cure Duchenne Certified Physical Therapist. Common conditions and diagnoses that our therapist is experienced in treating include:  

  • Early Motor Development (infants and toddlers)

  • Torticolis/plagiocephaly

  • Brachial plexus injury

  • Hypotonia (low muscle tone)

  • Gait Abnormalities: Toe-walking, in-toeing, etc

  • Orthopedic Injury:  Sprains, fractures, joint pain etc.

  • Neurological Disorders: Cerebral palsy, ataxia, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, etc.

  • Gross motor delay and lack of coordination  

  • As well as a variety of other musculoskeletal conditions
