Sandia Sunrise Therapy is seeking team-oriented speech, occupational, and physical therapy professionals. We offer a flexible schedule to focus on providing patients the best possible treatment. Candidates Must Meet the Following Qualifications:

  • New Mexico state-issued license with respected practice board

  • National board certification and/or registry in respected field

  • College degree in respected field

  • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws

  • Experience with Teletherapy desired, but not required

  • Minimum of one year experience in a pediatric setting

Candidate Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide appropriate therapy evaluation, assessment, and treatment to children with various conditions ages 0-21

  • Utilize evidence-based practice in all areas of evaluation and treatment

  • Prepare engaging home programs and activities for families

  • Collaborate with team members and other allied professionals

  • Write professional evaluations and re-assessments that include a thorough plan of care with individualized goals and objectives for each patient

  • Prepare treatment materials and therapy room, ensuring proper sterilization and safety procedures are followed

  • Handle and document important medical information with accountability and attention to detail 

  • Attend continuing education courses and work to advance personal knowledge and experience within the field

  • Supervise and mentor students

  • Be able to lift at least 40 pounds
